Quick Start Guide
Follow this guide to create your first AI-generated video with AdFlow. The entire process takes less than 10 minutes.
Prerequisites
Before You Begin
- An AdFlow account (sign up at /signup)
- At least one high-quality image (JPG or PNG, minimum 512x512 pixels)
- A title and description for your content (for AI script generation)
Complete Onboarding
After signing up, you'll be guided through a brief onboarding process. This helps configure your account for optimal video generation.
Content Source Selection
Choose how you'll add content to AdFlow:
- Manual Upload - Upload images one at a time (recommended for getting started)
- Website Sync - Automatically pull content from your website
- API Integration - Connect via Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom API (coming soon)
Voice Selection
Select an AI voice for your video narrations. You can preview each voice before selecting. Options include various accents, genders, and speaking styles.
Branding (Optional)
Upload your logo and configure intro/outro text. These are applied to all videos automatically. You can skip this step and configure later in Settings.
Add Your First Content
Navigate to the Content section in your dashboard to add your first item.
Upload an Image
- 1Click the "Add Content" or "+" button
- 2Select or drag-and-drop your image file
- 3Enter a title (e.g., "Summer Collection Dress")
- 4Add a description - this is used to generate the video script
- 5Click "Save" to add the content item
Tip: Quality Descriptions Generate Better Videos
The description you provide is used to generate the voiceover script. Include key features, benefits, and any call-to-action you want mentioned. The more detail you provide, the better the AI can craft an engaging narrative.
Generate Your Video
With content added, you're ready to generate your first video.

Click the checkbox next to the item you want to create a video for

Click "Generate Video"

Video generation typically takes 2-5 minutes depending on complexity

Navigate to the Videos section to preview and download
What Happens During Generation
Script Generation: AI creates a narration script based on your title and description
Voice Synthesis: The script is converted to speech using your selected AI voice
Motion Generation: AI creates subtle motion effects for your static image
Composition: All elements are combined with your branding into the final video
Download or Share
Once your video is ready, you have several options:
Download
Download the MP4 file to your device. Videos are optimized for social media platforms (vertical 9:16 format, 1080x1920 resolution).
Share Directly
Post directly to connected social accounts. Configure social connections in Settings to enable one-click posting to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more.

Common Issues
Video generation is taking too long
Video generation typically takes 2-5 minutes. If it's been longer than 10 minutes:
- Check your internet connection
- Refresh the page and check the Videos section
- If the job appears stuck, try generating again
- Contact support if issues persist
My image upload failed
Ensure your image meets these requirements:
- Format: JPG, PNG, or WebP
- Minimum resolution: 512x512 pixels
- Maximum file size: 10MB
- No corrupted or incomplete files
The voiceover doesn't sound right
If the AI-generated voiceover doesn't match your expectations:
- Try a different voice in Settings → Voice Configuration
- Edit your content description to be clearer and more natural-sounding
- Avoid special characters, URLs, or technical jargon in descriptions
- Use the custom script feature for precise control over narration
